DETAILS OF SEED RAKHIS:
- Each seed rakhi is made from indigenous cotton, which is near extinction
- The cotton used is grown organically in Paradsinga village, MP, and is converted into handspun yarn over charkhas by women of the Gram Sewa Mandal in Wardha, Maharashtra
- The rakhis are naturally dyed by artisans in Erode, and are then converted into handcrafted bands embedded with Organic and non-GMO seeds*
- Each seed rakhi comes wrapped around a seed paper card, which is also plantable like the seed rakhi. The handmade paper cards are made of recycled paper and are also embedded with organic and non-GMO seeds
